Nathan, you reply to everything on this forum (I know you have a good website and are a loyal fan) even posts that dont affect you, but can you write something constructive now and again?

Im sure people will be shaking in their boots reading that last posting

Gosh.

How very brave.

Slagging someone off, but being too much of a spineless, yellow bellied, cowering wimp to admit who you are.......

What, are you worried that Nathan's gonna "get you" if you put your name to your "opinion"?

You get a kick out of picking on youngsters do you?

As Nathan quite rightly said, the purpose of a forum is to "discuss", "comment" and "exchange information".

So what if Nathan chooses to comment on lots of things - is it against the rules of this forum? Is there some designated limit on how many posts anyone can make?

The answer to both of those questions is no.

So my advice to you Oh Brave And Bold Anonymous Slagger Off Of Other People's Valid Opinions, is to quit your bitching. If however, you can't refrain from whinging and whining like a spoilt brat, at least have the balls to put your name to your comments.

Oh and while I'm here, I've never been a fan of Browne as I've said countless times, but I wonder why it took so long for them to find out his true colours...... All the crowing they made when he went there seems somewhat embarrassingly foolish now I suspect.

Seeing as no one else has, to any wood fan reading this "We told you so." Now you have the chance to appoint a decent manager watch as you rsie up the table. Unless f course your chairman cocks up the appointment again. But we know all about that.

As for the released players yes let's have Palmer and Hakki back, if they will come. I can understand Hakki's decision to sign for the wood given that Browne did stand by him and the club was on a more sound footing than us. Palmer is quality and too good for this division.

Those two would definately improve the side, something that is desperately needed given last night's debacle.

As for CJ.....

I notice someone thinks Browne may be off to Aylesbury, well that would well and truly screw them. Having said that Browne does have experience of a team that does not pay wages.

Nah can't see him going to Aylesbury -- they are in big trouble at the moment, which is a shame cos they are a good club.

The more I think about it Eddie should be on the phone now trying to get these two back. We have a massive problem on the right and even when Spence is fit he can't defend so if were playing wingbacks Palmer would be a great option.

Veli was the best player at this level before what happened. I'm sure the coaching staff could get the best out of him as we desperately need a creative midfielder. I've even heard Martyn Deaner say it in the stand! If we want top 6 these are a MUST.

As for CJ, I don't rate him above Steer or Haddow, but as a Slough boy and with him being friends with Adrian Brown what bet he comes back?

Sorry to go on, but so can Byron Bubb and that's why I'd like to see Denton take a chance on him. My worry is that these players mentioned will just follow Steve Browne again to his next club. If you're reading Eddie, get on the phone to Dean, Byron and Veli now !

I dont see why everyone picks on Byron bubb, although he may have wasted the ball at times other times he was a quality player- and his skills and shooting were superb at times. As for Veli and palmer we need them now! it will be so frustrating if we dont get them!

Byron Bubb was potentially the most frustrating player we've ever had as he could single handedly destroy teams on his day, but that day only came about one in ten matches. Not good enough, consistent enough or enough of a team player for what we want right now.

My only concern with having Hakki & Palmer back is as soon as Browne finds another club, they may follow, or worse yet, bring him back to us....

Think of all the crosses that came in from the wings from Bubb and Gilkes last season. It's no wonder that Boot and Winston got 60+ goals or whatever it was. This is the reason behind my thinking that Bubb or someone very similar would be an ideal signing. We're struggling a bit with scoring at the moment, not due to the lack of, or quality of strikers, I'm sure of that; it's because there's no ammunition coming from midfield, and especially the wings. Ian Hodge would have twice as many goals as he does now if we had decent crosses coming in. Our best crossers are probably Harris and Steer but they don't really have the pace to beat defenders, and too often play as wingbacks.

I would however agree that Bubb is far from a 'team player' and was very frustrating on many occasions. But his quality was there for all to see. I don't think he would come back to Slough Town anyway.

More news from Boreham Wood by the way is that Sammy Winston is staying. He's signed a new contract.

Anybody know why the three players were released? Looking at the match reports on the BW site, Veli seemed to be getting some good write-ups for his performances, so it cannot be that which made them let him go. If it was loyalty to Steve Browne that caused it, then maybe they are all going somewhere else - Steve's super team as proposed in the NLP?

It seems people's opinion of Bubb is split 50/50, but I'd like to see him back personally. I agree with the negatives comments of he can be selfish with the ball, may not be the best team player and sometimes tries to beat to many. But he's also has pace, the skill to beat defenders, a good crosser and can score a few too, so I think the positives outweigh the negatives. Although I see unlikely Bubb being signed as it seems he's not even playing at the moment? Out of the others (Hakki, Palmer and James) I'd also take back Hakki and Palmer, although why were they released? also would they be welcomed? But it's obvious we need some pacy attacking wingers URGENTLY!
