After two terms practical changes are only beginning but I already know that I will look back on EFM as having been a turning point in my Christian life and how I respond to God’s empowering love. I would enthusiastically endorse it to anyone.

How to promote EFM

 

There are some simple ways a student can help to promote EFM:

 

• Speak to your minister and tell them how useful EFM is.

• Encourage members of your church that EFM would be good for them.
• Get your group to hold an open session and invite people to observe and be involved in a TR, with a time for questions to be answered.
• Write to your Bishop and Diocesan Adult Education Advisor and tell them your experience about EFM.
• Write an article about EFM in your church magazine.
• Obtain some promotional flyers from EFM UK Head Office to hand to people.
• Pray for the promotion and development of EFM.
• Speak to your mentor and discuss whether you have the ability to consider training as a mentor and starting a new group.
• Take some friends to the annual convention.
• Don't keep secret your involvement with EFM - tell everyone!

And when you have done all this and still nothing has happened, don't worry it is the experience of many and not just you! You may have sown a seed somewhere but above all don't give up - stay faithful in promoting one of the best adult educational Christian Programmes available in the UK.

Handbuilt by perverts is a Japenese only release of some early Carter stuff and the website of the same name is a Carter and related projects site, it is run by one Robert Thompson (not of Jamie Bulger fame) from Dundee who me and gertcha got very pissed with in a bar in Edinbourgh last year and convinced him there was a football team called Dundee Rovers ..... You may of had to of been there!
