Is Martyn Deaner really a Windsor fan?

 

He takes us over and doesn't pay the rent at WP forcing us to move out. Two alternatives offered. Harrow, miles away, or nearby Windsor. Windsor is chosen, extortionate level of rent paid (£13,000 a season more than Wokingham who shared there last season). Club continues its demise and now without a home to call its own. Fanbase diminishes rapidly after becoming increasingly annoyed with incompetent performances.

 

Slough and Windsor merge. Slough's name is dropped. Bye bye Slough Town FC.

 

Roger hit the nail on the head before the game. I hope the trust can force Deaners hand and make things happen by getting us into another league (Combined Counties as Slough Town or Slough United or something) forcing Deaner to pull his finger out or he's not got anything to bargain the lining of his pockets with this redevelopment of Britwell with.

 

It's a sad, sad life being the pawn in a power/money struggle.

 

Being a Slough fan right now absolutely stinks.

why not stage some form of protest against him during a game or before it? Have a flag which will get him thinking or if needs be boycott certain games.

Going? Or perhaps gone... This summer will decide whether or not this club dies or moves back onward.

whilst i am a windsor fan i think it's a shame what is happening to you. Would your owner sell the club? If he would why not find an investor or company from slough?

The way forward should be the trust be we would obviously need some outside investment to help us finance the purchase of a ground back into Slough. The pwner did have the club up for sale for £2 some years back but when a serious approach was made, he ignored the approach. Ridiculous.

 

Make the most of this success whilst you can Windsor fans, we've found out the hard way that it doesn't last forever!
