andyetfc
Is it not a members' only meeting rather than a supporters' meeting?
lovely stuff
How about a video of the meeting posted in a link to members via email the day after? Or i'd be happy with a pdf of the minutes.Just nice to know what was discussed at the meeting for those not able to be there in person.

PocketRocket
We intend to video the management Q+A and any key statements made. We will only transmit to the usual Tifosy Subscribers as we do with the home match coverage . Live Facebook footage was considered however felt that we didn't need to tell the whole world our business, in house amongst subscribing fans should suffice in my opinion

Are there supporters, society members and now Tifosy subscribers?
PocketRocket
It's subject to Directors directives. However, my view is if you outlay a monthly subscription which enhance and benefits the club greatly then it warrants some exclusivity. It also encourages others to get onboard. Sole Member subscribers get a regular members update and minutes of main points we are all interested in I.e Playing budget, players, financial updates. We've never had it filmed before so it's not something which is taken away from members but added to Tifosy Subscribers

PocketRocket
That's great Andy, we've also had supporters/directors from day one who are no longer attending regularly, we can only have one board of directors making decisions, we'd Have anarchy if we left it to all the supporters to sort out between them. As a supporter from day one it can be an Andy question for Thursday unless non supporters/subscribers/members from day one are not allowed to do so? littlehampton
Would have loved to have been there this evening, for what I am sure will be a very interesting meeting, but sadly too far to travel on this occasion. No doubt Andy and Darren will receive a warm welcome, and there will be plenty of questions about their plans for the new season, hopes and expectations, player retention / new signings progress, etc. Would very much appreciate feedback on this fans' forum. Thanks.
djwilf
The morning after..... So how did the meeting go? What were the main points? Were any/many good questions put to the new boss? As said previously, it would be good to hear how the evening went.
Theodopolous
A very positive presentation from the new management team.... their knowledge about the non league game and especially the players available was very impressive....they didn't seem to be all that worried about the mass exodus instead speaking very positively about recent signings ... they also seemed a bit peeved of the lack of response from certain ETFC players who have failed to answer to calls for commitment.... they were asked about how they viewed cup runs and the need to bring in welcome revenue which they responded saying cup runs were important to the club....all in all I left there thinking the playing side was in very safe hands... I'm sure others will post a more detailed review of the evening....
cufcgeneral
Good management team you've got there. Certainly know there stuff in non league circles, I'd be worried though about some of the signings. Youngs was our best player last year but Roberts couldn't finish a sentence let alone a chance. On the cup runs, we've had 2 in 10 years and they both took a large slice of luck so don't get too optimistic. Anyway, good luck for the season ahead. It's destined in the stats for us to be drawn together in an FA Cup or Trophy game. If not see you in the Conference South next year ??

Benjrider10
I was impressed by both Andy Leese and Darren Purse. Both came across well. Darren Purse reminded me of a certain Mr. Quinton in terms of background, football priorities and attitude. The summary on the website is a good representation. The influx of new players is a good thing. Yes, we had a talented team but if that team had stayed 80% the same, chances are our results would have stayed 80% the same too, meaning top 10 or playoffs at best. I have no doubt that Andy Leese's "little black book" will come into its own through July and we will start the season with a fit and competitive squad. Am particularly encouraged by the pace that has been added to the forward line - something we have been missing since Corey Whiteley's departure. Looking forward to the new season - time to renew the season ticket(s)!!!
