What exactly is the position of Gilkes? He is at most matches and certainly more qualified to manage than Denton. He has played at a higher level and has Fa coaching qualifications. Is he employed by the club? what as? and how much of a say does he get in training, tactics and team selection?

If boot goes we are in serious trouble, miller is extremly poor and hodge cant do everything on his own. Ryan williams was always awful- out of all the players that went that i would even considering welcoming back after deserting us he is not one of them. dear oh dear.

He'd almost certainly play better than the lot that 'tried' last night. Once again boys, thanks for turning up last night. Pity you didn't play very well, eh.

Did they? Difficult to tell last night wasn't it. At least they had the decency to applaud us at the end. We deserve a bloody apology from each one of them.

On the subject of applause, if we'd all refused to clap them and just stood there with arms folded, wouldn't that have sent them a clear message?

It beats me why anyone did clap them at the end.....

No, but holding two fingers up on each hand and booing would have done.

Steve Daly deserves an award for all his loyalty and efforts, and apart from Hodge, Spencer and Daly- all the others deserve a rocket up their arses.

And as for all the rubbish about joining lower leagues in other threads, who the bloody hell is going to weatch that! It's bad enough already!

The ref was poor last night but you cannot blame him for anything. Let's face it our first goal was a very good tackle, the ball was won, it was level so touch and go on the offside, but after that you were outplayed. We went down to ten and you still couldn't contain us.

To say Walton are poor is sour grapes I'm afraid. We have been poor, and we have played much better than that, but you were well beaten last night by a reasonably decent side in a transition stage.

Walton fan, can you read? The ref has come in for stick and we've all blamed our own players for perhaps the worst performance I have ever seen a Slough team give. The better side won on the night but be under no illusions that your side is anything other than pi$s poor.

No it wasn't a good tackle. And as for the offside, well one of our fans was standing level with the play and he and two Walton fans could clearly see it was 2 feet offside. They admitted as much.
