Enjoyable evening of football at Lyne F.C with us hosting a very good Cobham side. Good turnout of supporter to watch a match that was evenly balanced. final score, 3-2 to Cobham but an excellent pre-season blow out for both teams with plenty of good quality football on show.

 

Saw the BEDFONT game would like to see some league games when it starts. Where will your games be played?

Enjoyable game at Farnham against Ash United in sweltering conditions this afternoon.

2-0 win for Farnham

Another competitive match today against spelthorne Sports. Both sides got a decent run out and yet again a good quality of football on show. Final score 2-1 to Lyne but irrelevant as both teams achieved what they needed to.

 

On to Tuesday, Chertsey Town and Saturday Walton and Hersham.

Good practice though, for a forthcoming World Cup in Qatar, (if it ever happens !!)

Westfield reserves had a good run out against red hill reserves .

Two from two for us. And I had 5 trailists on Saturday so pleased with how things are progressing .

Yes but was late and missed first 15 minutes and could only stay until the end of first half of the reserves game.

What did you think of the reserves game ? Personally I found it a lot more entertaining with much better football that the first team game .

Was always going to be a tough ask Westfield are a good outfit, saw some good stuff on both sides. I was sitting under the cover with them during the first trial game listening to the banter and some of the lads thought that this was where Redhill played so I'm guessing a lot were looking for a club! Interesting when the game started the subs where really getting behind the lads and shouting encouragement and advice, not so much of that in the first game.

Player to keep an eye on this season is the young under 21 keeper Redhill had between the sticks.

Compleatly agree , re the keeper very good I would have him in a hart beat. I think the work rate from both sides was imence

Lyne F.C 5 V 5 Chertsey Town F.C, yet another competitive match.

Wood 4-2 Kensington Borough. Both clubs fielded a different team in each half. Borough look good to me and division 1 will be fascinating this season. Friday's game is OFF v FC Deportivo Galicia unfortunately.

A lesson in football first half from Walton and Hersham, 0-5 down at half way mark. Final score remained 0-5. I think its fair to say W&H will be one of the teams to watch this season!!
