Support Watford then....you can go on a lovely train to Preston come back on a train and a bus and another train via Birmingham and Reading ( maybe you just stay in Reading ? maybe you end up supporting Reading instead because the train goes there sometimes...whats the difference ?) Good point though about all those hopeless places in Essex, the Isthmian League, years back were very reluctant to let those places in, and we already had Ilford/Leytonstone etc.but those were proper clubs, Walthamstow Avenue etc. No, we need to play in a London/S.E regionalised version of the Conference. Lets not kid ourselves, there won't be another Wimbledon ( unless its AFC Wimbledon )

They come and go these Yeovils and Rushdens, and they all end up in the sediment with Rochdale etc...look at Hereford,Cheltenham etc.or if you are really brave look at Workington. It is all completely futile. Give me a league we can dominate endlessly, not necessarily winning it every year but top 4...keep out the riff raff clubs and all our Committee men wear blazers with the club crest on it.

like Barrow and Newport County...i am all for progress but for St.Albans City FC and for the dozens of similar clubs in England progress is not necessarily playing in the wretched Football League or even the Conference, as it stands...but anyway what about the new recruits that Mr. Castle was tantalising us with...?

That was Yeovil's Ryman game with Enfield at the end of the season. They would have had more but there had been trouble the season before and so the away end was strictly away fans only.

I'm told at least another 2,000 were turned away by someone that was there.

Talking of Enfield, when was the last time they had 80 or more at a game?
