Well we are unsure at the moment, all along it has been promised a split of a first team squad, so we will still hope for that, however we have no control on what they send.

Whatever side they do eventually send I am sure will not only be a great occasion for Kev but a really tough afternoon for us a team.

Slough game no longer listed on West Bromwich Albion pre-season fixtures listing. They are promoting the Bristol Rovers game heavily, but no mention of Kev's testimonial.

Any idea what kind of squad they are sending down yet?

At their double header on Wednesday, at the so called lesser game they played a sprinkling of their first team squad i.e. Myhill, O'Shea, Brunt, McClean and Robson-Kanu so it's always possible they will do the same.

So it looks like Boaz Myhill and about 5 of their young lads that form part of their first team squad (and who are highly rated) with the more senior players going to Rovers, and then the rest will be made up of the 23s.

However what a test it will be, these younger less established pros don't make the first team squad if they are not quality players, and a number of them will have played on Wednesday against both Burton and Walsall.

We have to remember they are a Premier League team playing 6 levels above us.

Tomorrow is in reality all about Kev, and i urge everyone to try and bring as many of your friends and family as possible to support him, after everything he has done for this club.

So how many on here were at Super Kev.s first game st the Orient.

I can remember every one around saying at half time if only it was 3 nil and not 2 nil we have a chance of winning.

Both games were top class just like Super Kev.

What an introduction for him to this great club.

Gary Megson takes over from Kempy as new head coach at West Brom.

 Quote from Pulis

" I've known Gary from my early days at Bristol Roves when his dad Don gave me my debut and Gary would turn up as a 17 year old to train "

Maybe with Dave Kemp no longer involved and Megson's affinity to Bristol Rovers there was a rethink on the squads.

Nevertheless, as has been stated this is Kev's day lets make it special for him.

Watched Slough rarely at The Dolphin, Then from '73 at Wexham Park Got involved with the club in late '70's. , My mum got involved with the club about the same time (catering). Worked with Mark Fiore around the ground later on.  About 15 of my family worked for the club in different ways catering, bar, turnstiles, committee and me playing season 82/83 the year we beat Millwall (resies). Then The Supporters Association started up and we (mum and myself) got into that, she gave us tea at half time when at home (on the pitch behind the goal hospital end). I haven't missed a home league game since I played for the resies 82/83. Every game (apart from Hitchin away last season) including friendlies for the last 6 years.

Was on committee until this season, still Matchday Sec/Kitman and still on the Trust committee. Family still involved son helps out Granddaughter wants to be a Physio so who but Super Kev to help out with this.

(edit) may be the wrong thread but would be interesting , the pic is from the supporters team Industrial Premier side.

I first got involved when one of the Slough players oft he 50's Jacubiec lived with the family as a lodger in Cippenham. I used to clean his boots.

Started watching in earnest at the Dolphin.  Used to go to Slough college but bunked off in the evenings when the lights were switched on for the mid week games. Some of my best memories were the Wycombe and Blyth games at the Dolphin and also Runcorn and Skelmersdale away ( where I ran a coach and won a fortune playing crib on the coach. haha)

Initally involved on the Football committee during Gordon Greig's time and then Mervyn Jones and Alan Humphries .With many others helped to build the terracing on Sunday mornings at Wexham Park. Although I moved to Maidenhead and latterly Kings Langley. Also doorman for the old discos and Social Treasurer at Wexham Park.

Many of those involved at Wexham Park are still part of the fabric today .

Now serving on the Supporters trust.

As Epic rebel states once it is in your blood!!

Really positive performance today from everyone, a great attitude throughout and the team did Kev proud.

Flood and Harris were excellent, always harrying and probing and deserved their goals. Turner, every game he seems to be pulling out a ridiculous save. Impressed again with Jackman.

Interview with Jon. Every word is spot on.

If I was to pick out one player today it would be Nathan Webb. I am sure most people will say some other players but for me Webb was immense in centre mid today. He hassled the WBA players and didn't give them a second on the ball and really prevented them from getting a foot hold further up the pitch. It didn't matter who they were, if they had the ball he was going to get it off them and get the possession back for us.

Second half we played some incredible football at times and it was the perfect way to honour Super Kev and the incredible work he has done throughout the years.
