Not sure what that means Matt.

So if too many WBA fans order tickets they will be refused?

So we might be selling tickets at the Wealdstone game?    :doah:

It's not an exact science but in the unlikely scenario that we started to get hundreds of purchases from the West Midlands, we would have to consider limiting online sales and making tickets available for purchase in Slough only (at home friendlies for example). As it stands, only 3% of orders are from that neck of the woods, though you will appreciate you don't have to live in Slough to support the team, so we've been getting orders from all over.

The hope is that tickets will be sold at the Wealdstone game. I understand it's highly likely but dependent on being able to get our hands on the printed tickets in time, so we will have to confirm either tomorrow or Tuesday.

My season ticket was in my basket too, but again i managed to delete and pay for my ticket only.  However i think it is worth flagging up that this does happen on the club shop.  I am using Firefox if that has anything to do with it.  I am a technophobe so no idea why this happens as it happened to me last year too.

I know that Matt So were is the Student price then?

There is no separate price for students for this game - everyone falls into either Adult, Concession or Child as defined in the article on the website.

Mark this is a fundraiser for Kev McGoldrick who has given 33 years to the club, so the fact that a student may have to pay 10 pounds to watch a Premier League side is great value, personally if you asked most of our regulars who are senior citizens I am sure most would have had no problem paying full price for this particular game and helping Kev out.

Hard to believe the enquirer in this modern age had no access to the internet to read the article themselves...

They did and that is why they asked. Were is the student Price hence the Question.

Edit for Glen Ask lionel or Geff at the Trust table about the internet and there access

Matt, thanks for that explanation.

Access to internet - not everyone has such access and of those who do some are reluctant to use on-line purchasing. It needs to be understood that whilst younger folk have grown up with the internet etc this is not the case for older people. Until recently I was volunteering at a Special Needs skills and social club. An offshoot of this was IT training which had numbers of older people attending.

The internet has only been around publicly since the early 1990's so people have only had 25'ish years to learn to press a few buttons.

My father in law who is in his 80's walks round with his ipad to email, photograph, skype etc.

I have only been using computers since 1985 so still struggle to switch the box on - too many flashing lights for me. I am thinking of retiring the old ZX81 which I am typing this on.

I think we should all go back to Banda printers, telegrams, telex, and the town crier for information transfer to suit the few who have not been bothered to realize we are in the 17th year of the 21st century.

Next some will be asking if they can pay for tickets with green Shield stamps!

This is OK but I was asked what is the Students price, I said i'll ask.

They want to pay but what?

If the club is running 4 different prices for every game (not including seated) Again I was asked were is the student price.

These students are in full time education so NO income.

Then they wont be coming to the game then Mark will they if they have no money..... as has been said previously, this is a fundraiser for Kev against a Premier League team, so the fact that there are any concessions is IMO generous, as I don't think anybody would begrudge paying full adult price for this one off game.

But students will pay full price just to clear the matter up.
