cup of tea
What a cowardly act - murdering innocent children (including an 8 year old) amongst others. These kind of atrocities clearly have nothing to do with Islam or any other kind of mainstream religion, none of which would condone an act of this nature. IS have claimed responsibility, I believe. How brave of them, cowards. We need to make sure that people are not isolated in this country as that leads to extremists preying upon them, we need to make sure that the likes of Facebook, Twitter, Snapchat etc. are not being exploited by extremists and we need to send out a message to people who would do things like this that they will not achieve their warped aims. My heart goes out to the victims and their families and friends.
Big J R
I hate to have to say this, but it was going to happen in the UK after whats been happening in Europe over the past months. I'll wait for the British Muslim community to openly condemn this attack before commenting much further.
Big J R
Have just now spent some time catching up on the terrible events in Manchester. It appears ISIS has confirmed that the suicide bomber was 'One of Theirs'. It seems then that ISIS designated a childrens/young persons concert for the attack. Do I have to now wait for Mrs May to increase sentences for terrorism ? Re-introduce the death sentence ? Interesting question. Maybe I will now just up-grade my own personal views and dealings with Muslims living in this country without a care for England, religion or culture. It's a great pity UKIP isn't fielding more candidates in the up-coming election. I will definitely be voting Tory after many years, then maybe a massive Tory vote will finally Scotch (??) the SNP vote and get this country forward to getting Britain GREAT once again. Well, you can only dream, can't you ? Must dash ! Woman wearing a scarf over her face walking up the road. Could be worth reporting.
cup of tea
I'm not a fan of the death penalty and certainly in this case, you would make martyrs of anyone you did kill. They don't play by conventional rules or any sort of logic so we need to think outside the box for a solution. I can certainly understand the anger though, this is as hideous an act as you can get really.
Big J R
It would seem the self-imposed death penalty was used in the early hours of this morning when anti-terrorist police shot and killed three jihadists in Borough Market, London. Exactly what do they hope to achieve ? Their 'heaven' must be running out of 'virgins' as a reward for killing 'infidels' by now. I know we might learn intelligence from captured terrorists, but three dead ones is fine in my book. It saves the tax-payers a bomb, if you'll pardon the expression. cup of tea
The emergency services deserve all the praise they got - fantastic.
Big J R
Shows you just how fast our security services move. Within a day, all three identified, one with many connections to Barking in Essex resulting in many more arrests.
