Eddie what I'd like to know is how do you along with some other's (your words)know that we have two corking friendlies.

I certainly don't know and can't see what the big secret is, other clubs are announcing friendlies so why can we.

I hate all this cloak and dagger stuff !!

Sue, the two friendlies we have already arranged have been announced by the other two clubs.

The 'corking' friendlies are not these two games but hopefully the ones still to be arranged i.e. for Kevin McGoldrick's testimonial etc.

As I said, perhaps we are waiting until all the friendlies have been confirmed, maybe to tie in with the season ticket prices, before announcing them.

Either way there are some supporters like Mark44 who would like to arrange things like works trips/holidays around any 'corking' friendlies.

Yeah I don't get that either. Sorry but it is just a friendly

When they announce our spanish tour with friendlies against Barcelona, Real Madrid and Atletico Madrid you might say otherwise.

Seriously though there could be some very interesting matches now that we have a home ground to invite the big boys to. Keep your eyes on the main site you might be surprised who is being lined up for those friendlies.

It's not a case of being secretive. There have been various discussions with numerous parties which have taken time, and a couple of the games are quite high profile (one in particular) so the finer details have taken time to organise. All that being said, I understand the full pre-season fixture list is close to being agreed and should be this coming week.

Really good mixture of friendlies; with meeting our 'old foe' in the first one, and the high point of WBA, and some proper non league encounters.

Mystifying, why Tonbridge Angels away, though !

Has Bakes or Unders got a relation they want to vist that way? ha ha !

Although I'm sure Slough fan, Dom DeMarcus will be pleased !

Tonbridge we just felt would be a perfect one to finish on, as they are going to be one of the favourites for the Ryman Premier, they are also  a big strong side, and similar to what we will play most weeks, also somewhere different, and not to bad to get round the m25.

Bakes, you haven't seen my old banger of a car ! ha ha !

Can understand your rhetoric on Tonbridge, then. I think it's a very good balance of teams we are playing and I like the kick off times.

Makes a pleasant change to play the majority at home this year.
