staines_rebel_Jr
The FA confirmed that there will be a fourth league added at step 3 and a seventh league added at step 4. These new leagues will mean a huge reshuffle for a lot of teams, assuming we are still at step 3 we will be at the mercy of the restructuring and how they redraw the league borders. Brightside on Tony's non league forum has made a few maps to illustrate what the leagues could look like. Slough could end up in a "South and West" league or possibly a "London and South East" League as shown below. Slough in a South and West league: https://www.google.com/maps/d/viewer?mid=1R3AY9kD52JNZwhQK7na6L1OZIZg&ll=52.68072074483085%2C-0.9020147999999608&z=7 Slough in a London league: https://www.google.com/maps/d/viewer?mid=1iQHKmAje-bmHcbDZ_TV468RB4fk&ll=52.18842426785805%2C0.037316254687539185&z=7 A possible midlands league: https://www.google.com/maps/d/viewer?mid=17Y_3SqS-S9evI7ptbJyM0Bg3En4&ll=52.68072074483085%2C-0.9020147999999608&z=7 Any of those 3 would give us more local games with the inclusion of west London based clubs. Whatever happens it will cause a lot of managers problems as they try to build new teams which could have to be changed last minute based on players travel preferences. One good thing about the restructure is that this season only 1 team from each step 3 league will get relegated, so we should be playing at at least step 3 in 18/19 season.
