we have a few key players out at the moment who have been for some time and will be for a while yet. we have signed a palyer called lee white in the last few weeks but he is off to america soon to persue college "soccer". what he has been offered out there is unreal! his former orien manager is coaching out there.

As far as I know Ilford have made a two seven day approaches for ESL players just before christmas.

Who....???? Dont know but i'll try to find out.

We are far from disappointed at losing Clarkey...

We feel we have a strong enough squad to win the league even without his goals.........only time will tell of course.....but I honestly believe that we will play a better quality of football now that Danny has joined ETFC. Thats not sour grapes or anything like that.....but we feel very positive about the squad we have.

Dont know whats happened to Kenny Leslie.....

Stuart is still the manager......and doing a very good job.....

As for the seven days....they have been and gone....I assume the players approached didn't want to leave their respective clubs...

i like stuart he is a good bloke. he is one of them that from the outside you think he is a flash b*****d but when you get to know him he is actually alright.

 

when he was over our place he got a load of stick for that tv advert he did for the times.

the times advert where the man headed the ball and then it turns into an x ray picture of his skull! that was stuart, it was years ago and not that great so you may not remember it. it was around at the same time as when the boot kicked the ball and then that went to x-ray picture of the foot.
