As we have a lot of good players I would be surprised if clubs haven't shown an interest in most of them. COYR

Think the management probably want to keep the others closer to their chest, in case they do not materialise,or other managers try turning their head.

 

The three we've already announced, we are probably going on trust that they will keep their word and stay with us.

Every player you sign on you take on trust because they can have their heads turned and change their minds at anytime.

 

Not sure why any future signing would be any different.

 

Perhaps the real reason is that these other signings are 'major coups' and it's best to keep quiet until the players have either made up their minds or their intentions are forced by their current clubs.

Funny you should ask that, I've just had confirmation this evening from one of our targets that he has agreed to sign.

Welcome Brad Wadkins from Chesham! It seems he prefers to play as an attacking midfielder, I wonder if that's where he'll play with us. Good option as he can play as a striker too.

He looked like a very good player against us in January, but seems he picked up a meniscus injury a few weeks later, had keyhole surgery in late March and missed the remainder of the season.... it would be interesting to hear if he is still recovering or fully recovered now.

 

In my opinion, if fully fit he is a fantastic addition as an attacking central midfielder or striker.

He has been in to see Kev last week and we are expecting him to start pre season on the first of July along with the rest of the lads.

How is Manny Williams coming along with his injury.

Very pleased with the signing. Another quality addition to the squad and with Flood, James and Williams gives a good variety of forward options. Plus, always looking dangerous against us so it'll be nice to have him on our side now.
