I thought i would give my two cents on yesterdays win.

First thing's first it shows how far we have come when a team we drew with at home last season is trounced by us 5-0 at their own ground. I felt we played most of the match in second gear and that Aveley never gave us much cause for concern.

I must say that i don't feel the score told the whole story we again missed a host of easy chances upfront (i know i'm never happy),Saying that Lloyd looked lively and can you really critise someone who scores Twice (Bradley Allen) ??.

It was also great to see Danny (cowley) back in the fold after such a long time injured on the sidelines. Gutting though to see Jamie hobbling on cruches, thats a major blow for us with Jamies ability to adapt to any task thrown at him. Get well soon J

Ps y two men of the match were Vinnie for his adaptabillity to do a very good job at centre back and Locke who played the role as playmaker to perfection.

we lost to 'em at home last year urchino...

0-1...beat 'em 0-2 at their place....

I agree with you on lloyd and lockey...personally I would like to see lloyd start every game...trust me...when this kid starts scoring he wont stop...how many chances yesterday....5...6...more...and the way he holds the ball up is barclaycard stuff....

we saw what we are capbale of in the second half yesterday after the game was won and the players relaxed....there is an enormous amount of expectation around the club and obviously the players feel it....

good performance and a good win...we'll take anyone at home in the draw manana....hendon need stuffing...

or maybe bald eagles mob...we'll get the hooligan kids out again.... ....
