Arbour Park latest 6/4/17

Recommended Posts

Problem is the bar will never be a proper football clubhouse as it's a council owned facility that needs to remain neutral. I just hope TVs were on the agenda when it was discussed ages ago!

AP was still built primarily as a sports facility costing millions so a couple of TV's to enhance people's experience when visiting is not too much to ask for is it?

They do, but i know they really like the facilities at Arbour Park, i doubt it will be for this season coming as they put in half the money to repair the pitch at KL.  Think my mate was just wondering if some rebels would watch them if they made it their home seeing as its 17 miles from Watford!

As you will see they have 2 games at Arbour Park on 3rd September

Watford Ladies are playing all of their preseason games away to let the newly laid pitch at Kings Langley ( paid for by Watford) settle properly ( as are Kings Langley FC who only have one friendly at home on the 4th August against a Watford X1)

They are then on a 4 days training camp in Florence (tour)

I don't think it will be down to number of sockets...... but more what channels you would go for?

Sky Sport with their pre-dominantly 12.30 kick-offs?

BT Sport with their pre-dominantly 5.30 kick-offs?

I don't think either are particularly cheap, especially when you consider they might only be watched by Slough supporters two Saturdays every month.

I suppose it depends if the council or club are paying it or they may share the costs. I'd personally be disappointed if no live football on TV was available as I would visit the bar (and in turn spend more money) a lot more often. This also brings up the age old question if or what income the club takes from food and drink takings?

This will be interesting WHEN Meadowbank is eventually completed, sometime into the coming season. A local council venture with the Surrey F.A. resident on site.
