Does anyone know if we are going to get some proper signage at AP. Something that say's AP home of Slough Town or something similar?

 

At the moment there is just a soppy little banner that say's Arbour Park.

I'll be looking for something to eat on Saturday at the game, do we know what sort of food they will be serving up at AP?

I'd be surprised if it's anything other than the normal fare of burgers, hot dogs, chips etc... would love to be wrong though and it could be a decent earner if they laid on different but simple dishes like lasagna, pies, curry...

Should be outside caterers doing the food so we live in hope.

I am pretty sure it will be the standard burger van type food on Saturday.

Good to see the upstairs kitchen open for the first time yesterday. There were some teething problems but you can't have everything I suppose.

No mention of it on this forum so far but with the new season approaching have the TV's been ordered for the upstairs bar area?

Yes was going to ask the same question regarding tv's upstairs, as I saw none v Wycombe I just presumed it wasn't happening which would be a massive disappointment in my view as this could certainly entice more fans to spend more in the bar if live games were shown. So do I presume nothing out of the ordinary was served food wise upstairs?

Agree that to make it more 'club like' there has to be TV's in the upstairs bar area to show footie etc. Also makes sense revenue wise for the council.

 

The menu roughly was Burger with Cheese onions and tomato, chips or wedges, sausages and some sort of spare ribs.

 

As I said there was some teething problems i.e. no chips due to no fryer and no onions.

 

Also the ovens weren't turned on until roughly 12.15 apparently due to the kitchen staff thinking it was 3pm ko so with the ovens taking 20 minutes to warm up I went to the downstairs kitchen and had a delicious pasty
