Arbour Park latest 6/4/17

Going back to the issue of charging extra for the stand at the turnstile - Glen ARAS has picked up on what I was saying - you would still need extra personnel at the stand to check that persons entering the stand had the appropriate documentation. Or charge a transfer at the stand. Either way you would still need additional personnel (Volunteers) unless the stand was free entry. For major matches then there would be a case for a transfer charge. Such matches would require additional personnel anyway.

Also those people would have to be checking for the whole match.

At Basingstoke they stopped people sitting unless they had paid in the first half, then the vanished and anyone sat in the second, taking away seats that paying people had been sitting in.

So at Basingstoke you paid for a seat for the initial 45 minutes then it was a free for all

rebelade Latest info coming from Kings Lynn is that 21 league games will be charged at £12 and 2 charged at £15 presumably local derbies or teams with good away following and an extra £1 to sit if required They also say if they get any really special games (Arsenal in the cup?) they will fix an appropriate price!

Obviously going to be a private affair but certainly looking forward to sampling some lobster sandwiches and caviar whilst cheering on the Rebels!

Private almost certainly but plenty of publicity, photos etc from the council on such a big day for them (and us) is a pre-requisite.

Speaking of fine dining, Maidenhead are building a new clubhouse where they will be offering supporters a chance to have a meal/drink before watching the game.

I'm interested to know whether the 'restaurant and bar' as it's billed will offer decent food at our games or it'll be the usual fare you get everywhere. Also really hoping they have some real ale on tap and screens showing live footy which would certainly help entice fans to visit before and after a game.

I suppose that will depend on who will be running the catering/bar on match days?

Slough Town FC ran everything on match days last season but it will be a different ball game next season so will we be given a free reign as last season?

Maidenhead started building a new clubhouse in 1969/70. It became a covered car park, then in recent times a covered 5 a side pitch.
