Arbour Park latest 6/4/17

Recommended Posts

Season ticket prices for 15/16 were

full price (early bird price

Adult: £175  (£160)

Concession: £100   (£85)

Kids: £20   (£15)

I would expect the 17/18 prices to be fairly similar to those prices.

Changing entry fee to £12 whilst still in the SLP would be a disastrous idea whilst we are trying to increase our fan base in Slough and attract people to matches.

I'm not saying we will, just saying other clubs are and more.

Only Kings Lynn are charging £12, doubt anyone else would be bold enough to try it! Will be following their progress very carefully as if they're not top 5 I can't see their crowds increasing from this season and might even drop off. They'll certainly be up there in terms of budget next season. I feel we should keep prices as they are but charge £11 to sit in the main stand (payable at the turnstiles which negates needing additional volunteers to man the entrance to the stand).

Basingstoke also charged £12, whilst Leamington and Weymouth both charged £11

I note that the club already says it may charge £13 entrance for a special fixture (used to say £11 but recently hiked) Can someone define such a special fixture?

Not sure what Kings Lynn will define as the "special fixture" but they have the right to change the entry fee for 3 matches per season.

as per the following rules;

"Clubs may, with the written permission of the Board, have a maximum of three promotional days each Playing Season during which they can vary admission charges for adults including allowing free admission."

My post didnt refer to KL but to Slough Town should have made that clear since it followed one re KL

my mistake then, but not long ago Kings Lynn were discussing entry fee for this coming season and I think I remember them discussing the possibility of also having increased prices for a few select games as well.

This was put in place prior to the Hayes & Yeading game and has not in fact been 'hiked' or altered since. The club charged £13 for seats at that game and this caveat was communicated at the time to explain that this was a special one-off event.

So my question was what in future would be considered a special event warranting an increase? Clearly there cant be another homecoming Our website did say £11 at one time maybe an error now put right?

Paying at turnstiles to sit in the (main?) stand - sorry Glen you then still need extra manpower at the stand to check that the extra charge has been levied? It's nearly midnight I haven't had any booze but am knacked so perhaps I am misunderstanding what you are suggesting but any additional transfer charge surely needs policing which requires additional personnel. Goodnight everyone.

I don't think it ever said £11 and as I said it hasn't been changed to my knowledge, but won't argue with you on it. As far as I know there are no plans to charge more than the standard entrance fee for particular games this coming season. Perhaps any reference to '£13' now needs to be removed as it was for the Hayes game only and is causing some confusion. The club would assess on a case by case basis whether a price increase is necessary for specific matches and then communicate that properly.

Just to clarify the Kings Lynn situation, they had a meeting near the end of the season and informed fans that there would be Category A games that would be priced at £15 for adults, £12 concessions and Category B would be £12 adult entry, they didn't include cup games in this just league and it may still cost £1 extra for seat. This is because they need to increase playing budget and home fans said if it was to bring in better quality players they were happy.

I would expect that the clubs with big away support would be the £15 games to make the most out of them.

not only extra for seating some clubs for parking.
