Maidenhead don't charge extra for a seat in their excellent new stand. As far as I'm aware

the seats with plaques aren't exclusive.

 

Next season, assuming promotion is achieved, their costs will certainly rise. Admission

prices will have to go up to at least whatever the minimum is for that level. They will

presumably have to pay for ground improvements also.

 

They have provided an excellent match day deal compared to other clubs, e.g. Staines

(still charging £12 for the level below National Sth.).

 

Whatever happens we are as competitive pricewise in our league/level as any and hopefully

that will continue.

Gate entry or season ticket or both.

 

One thing I would say is the season ticket last season was an introduction price.

Yes the £100 was great but realistically it is 43.5% of the price you would pay if you attended all 23 home games

 

With an attendance of say 600, if everyone bought a season ticket we would make the same as 261 paying fans for each game which kind of defeats the object from a financial perspective.

 

The club have an almost impossible task of trying to find the tipping point between making money and not losing fans.

normally the price of a season ticket is discounted if you buy early, idea i suppose is that money already in the coffers can be made to work, encourage more to buy so that budgets can be worked out earlier, nobody is in football to make a profit  if they are then they are dellusional.

The ST prices will go up as those were one off introductory offers. If you attended every home match without a ST it'll cost £230. So even at £150 it'll represent great value and this should be the price we look to charge. Still a debate over whether a charge for seating should be introduced especially for the main stand.

It was made clear when the offer was made last year that the heavily discounted price was a special homecoming offer aimed to reward the loyal die-hards who stuck with the club throughout the wilderness years and to attract new support to Arbour Park.It was the second cheapest on offer last season ( and the cheapest that was honoured) Depending how you view it holders got 13 games free of charge or paid £4.35 each for all 23 I dont believe anyone should expect a similar deal for the coming season If next seasons price is £150 ish that would still be a discount of approx. one third.

That's if the gate price stays the same if it goes up to say £12 and the season ticket was £150, that'll be 10.5 games free.

epicrebel You are correct My thoughts are based on a £10 on the day price which I believe is correct for this level (maybe with extra charges for the new stand) Raising our entry charge needs to be thought about long and hard Im sure we all remember the strong criticism and vitriol that has been voiced on this forum when the few clubs who do charge more have been discussed

Season ticket prices for 15/16 were

 

full price (early bird price

 

Adult: £175  (£160)

Concession: £100   (£85)

Kids: £20   (£15)

 

 

I would expect the 17/18 prices to be fairly similar to those prices.

 

 

 

Changing entry fee to £12 whilst still in the SLP would be a disastrous idea whilst we are trying to increase our fan base in Slough and attract people to matches.

You don't seem to read posts very well,I never  mentioned buying a season ticket,Delaney was saying would I still go if the prices went up, I replied that what did he think happened  over the last 20yrs-yes you've got it prices went up! Is that clearer now?
