On the subject of Tv's I believe AP is awaiting set up as one of the tv's was used to watch one of the FA semifinal from last year

 

 

Am I being a tad optimistic in hoping to see a TV on the wall of the airport lounge this Saturday?

I think we need to forget about them as it’s obviously not happening for whatever reason. Maybe for next season some issues can be addressed/tweaked to enhance that particular space for everyone.

There are loads of local pubs showing the games who could do with the support if you are that bothered. 

 

Wheatsheaf, Red Cow, Rising Sun and Rose and Crown all show games and have better/cheaper beers.

SRJ, the main point is to improve the atmosphere in the bar area so that it resembles something like a clubhouse and improve the whole match day experience for the majority of people who attend games.

 

If you're not concerned personally I think you should be able to appreciate that other people are.

Asked him a couple of weeks back and he couldn't give an answer as to the reason why the TV's weren't installed by now.

 

ARAAS if someone from the committee/trust/club knows or have asked the clubs contacts at the council the reason why there's no TV's why don't they just tell us. Or is it that we just haven't asked the question?

Point one out to me tomorrow and I'll ask them.

 

Still not sure why if someone from the club has asked the question and knows the answer why we can't be told this information.

It seems you are experiencing the usual problems with a Council controlled ground.  I can't wait to see how much the beer is AND if there will be screens in the bar at the 'all new, all singing' Meadowbank', Dorking, WHEN completed.

Its allright, we have pleanty of jobsworth stewards from the council who tell us not to cheer our team to loudly!

 

Maybe the council should have these bodies out and about in the town dealing with the real public disturbances which give the town such a bad name.

Fosters went off about 17.30 then went home

Apparently there was an issue with the beer pumps at the last home game which is why the draft beer was lacking, and was remedied on Thursday evening I believe
