Romford win again Title contenders now ?

Recommended Posts

Two more goals from Jason Friend and a missed penalty by Kev Clarke was enough to beat a Basildon side on what has been described to me as a very boggy pitch which gave both sides very little chance of playing good football.

The post dated 15/12/03 Re/ "predictions for the league" did not mention Romford as potential title winners. We are well in there after 10 league games unbeaten now so Enfield-Ilford-Concord and Sawbo' don't write us for the title. We have the best manager in the league by far who given a budget to pay players would walk this league. I ask this question to the Enfield supporters and Ilford supporter Has your manager produced the goods this season so far or not, I know it is still early days and both sides could win the league, but is he giving producing the goods. Romford's budget is £0.00 Enfield and Ilford have a high wage bill. Have you got the right man in charge????

PS. You couldn't prise Reedy away from the Boro for love nor money

Jim Chandler won the Essex Senior League last season, and came runner-up the season before. He has also guided the club to four cup wins in two seasons, as well as taking the team to the 2nd Qualifying round of the FA Cup, only losing 1-0 to Carshalton. Not to mention the times we've finished runners-up to Ryman Premier League teams in cup competitions.

Nuff said.

Think your on the wrong forum Enfield are in the Isthmian/Ryman League.
Also believe that Enfield have very little money, and may be in the market for a new manager, so if ur bloke is that good maybe he'd like the challenge of managing in a higher league; can't see he'll get it with ur lot
