Wivenhoe Urchin
Had a bit of a shock this morning looking at the ryman premier table. Haven't looked at it for a while but at this stage of the season it is interesting to know teams we might be playing if we are in ryman north again next season. Grays are relegated, Hendon are 2nd bottom and Kingstonian are fighting to stay up too, not the teams I would have expected to be there as I always remember them in or around the play-offs each season when we were in that league. andydick
Indeed very tight - Kingstonian have been on a horrendous run which resulted in the sacking of their manager and the appointment of Craig Edwards. They're also being kicked out of Kingsmeadow which hasn't helped morale-wise and will be ground sharing with Leatherhead next season. Looks like Sudbury will be making a swift return to the North. Even tighter at the top though, 2 points separating 3rd placed Leison from 9th placed Wingate. Billericay in the mix - can see them overhauling Tonbridge and/or Needham Market for a play-off place. Won't be a bad thing to see them go up - if they don't they'll walk the Prem next season assuming Tamplin doesn't get bored and go elsewhere.
