Free Women

Let's not lie lionesses will win a damn sight more then the men will in the near future.

Also the reason they offer free women is because the majority is mostly men and to get more women in with their men, even at our ground very little women, I swear I am like a rare sight in our new ground. Young female can't be normal at non league ???

There are a lot more women attending at our new ground than ever came to SYCOB. Particularly young women and girls.

Any initiative that seeks to increase the fan base should be welcomed. All non league clubs fish in a small pool of like minded people. The trick is to expand the pond.

Free Kids , free ladies , cheap entry for season ticket holders of league clubs , free tickets for local schools/ temples/churches/mosques/scouts/guides. Free entry for national trust members/ AA/camra/RSPCA or any group you care to choose for certain games.

The main thing is get people through the turnstiles , enjoy the large crowd and some spend on teas or beer and maybe a few will come back and even turn into regulars.

When we played at Arlesey in the Central League the clubhouse was full of the young teams who played in the morning with all the parents in tow.

When our Academy gets fully up and running and playing on a Saturday morning this should bring in more support for the team.

The Academy has been going for 3 years or so.

You are all missing RUSSELL point.

The Junior section of the club have all been invited to the Redditch game with their families. The u11s will be at Cirencester and many of the u12 and u14s have been using their season tickets all season long.

Many of the Academy lads attend games too.

The girls have all been given a free ticket to a game and will be encouraged to come on 22nd.

We have involved a local school and will do more of that next season too.

There is activity on this front but there is so much more we can and will do.

Just have to prioritise

Kay, RD thought that the Lynch Hill Academy was our football academy or am I missing the point?

Yes RD did think that the new school was something to do with STFC Academy and SJR seemed to think that the Lynch Hill academy was linked to St.Josephs. The two schools may well form links as good neighbours when the LHA opens (Just as Slough Town FC/St. Josephs have done) but I clarified that the 2 schools are in fact separate entities (as Epicrebel also did). Kay has clarified that many of the children and youth team players do attend matches anyway and has now listed those to be involved for the remaining matches. In addition and for further information a number of the Slough Town Pals players and parents/carers also attend matches. So as Kay says there is a lot of hard work involved (especially on her part)and resources dictate prioritisation.

I never said LHEA had links to St Joes, just STFC academy did.

The academy has no links to the academy but does have links to the school which may become an academy very soon, the school which may soon be an academy also has no links to the academy.

Work that out.

Too many damn academies become confusing.

Also none have a link to Langley Academy in Slough, just to clarify.
