Hornchurch Resigned from Rymans

Did I miss something! According to the back page of the recorder from Gary Calder.

Apparently we have resigned from the Rymans with the intention of joining the conference South next season.

If this is so, does it really matter what place we finish in the league?

Yes it does if we win the league we go into the Conference (proper) and if we finish in the top half (not yet fixed) of the table we go into the Conference South. Resignations can be withdrawn (I believe).

NO.. listen carefully the resignation is for the END of the season, Ryman league have agreed to allow ANY side that resigns to rejoin if need be. Their is also an invitation from the Southern league to any Ryman Premier side to join the league if the Ryman refuse club entry back into the league.
