What ever happens its been great!

Evening, I just wanted to say that whatever happens in the last 7 games (or 9!) it has been great to be back. I use to come to Wexham Park regularly  but never got up to Holloways park. I thought I would head down a few times this season and went to the homecoming game - I've since been to every home match and an away fixture. I've loved it! I have been made to feel very welcome by everybody I have spoken to at the games and have had some great highs and a few lows but can honestly say it has been an amazing season and hopefully will be topped off with going up! The football we have played at times has been quality. I have followed this forum this season but this is my first time commenting but just wanted to say a massive thank you to everybody who has been willing to have a chat with me, and the club and players for giving me some amazing Saturday afternoons and Tuesday nights! To secure promotion this season would really be the icing on the cake but whatever happens its been great!

Its been a great season in so many way, but it has been incredibly hard work for so many people, But when you read something like the above, it makes it all the more worth it!

A great season for you with a return to your new ground.

Not quite such a good year for Dorking F.C.

The brand new Meadowbank ground is now about half complete, but the new 'owners' of the club from a few seasons ago decided that they had had enough and were 'pulling the plug', so as of the end of this season, Dorking F.C. will be no more !

Shame, as they were one of the oldest non-league clubs.

It will be interesting to see if the old die-hard DFC supporters travel to Meadowbank next season and follow Dorking Wanderers in the Ryman League.

Strange... after all the years trying to get this revamped stadium why pull out when it's nearly complete? Unless they have literally run out of money or they know something others don't?

I think the first part of your final sentence might have hit the nail squarely on the head, Glen
