To be honest I hope Carlisle get out of the mire and send Southend down! Come on Fleet Boy surely you want to see us promoted so we can renew old rivalries. Can't be much fun having a rivalry with bloody Margate!

 

At least Proths seems to be doing the business for you.

Proths is a decent conf. standard player to be fair!He also plays football and doesn't just hoof it which i like.Why did you let him go?!I can't see the margate rivalry lasting,looks like they're about to fold,the conference has given them till may to have a new stadium BUILT,not going to happen...

Hmm, who do you drop out of a midfield trio of John Kennedy, Ty Gooden and Jeff Minton? we could find a place for Proths at right wingback but as we don't play 4-4-2 his options are very limited but I do agree he's a quality player. His crossing ability is superb and at deadball situations he is deadly.

As i understand it they're having a crunch meeting,they've been told they have to have built a new ground by may,building work hasn't even started. The council are supposed to be funding it and the council are blaming margate..margate are blaming the council,the bank thinks margate have a good financial plan and are going to meet the council. There are also rumours the club briefly went into liquidation, that they are losing £5k a week. Doesn't really help when they get attendances of 255(admitedly a sunday fixture against Forest green but still...)

 

 

 

 

 

I apologise for any of the facts i've got wrong,i'm sure i have got some wrong but the gist of it is there.

Carlisle aren't going down. I said it before Christmas, and I was laughed at (as usual). The only shame was 10 points from 12 over the festiove period, and the only one I got to see was the draw with Darlington. 8,300+ for the bottom 2 sides in the league. A First Division club in waiting. Southend should be okay. Darlington and Bury to go down. Place your bets now.
