VIOLENCE AT DIDCOT TOWN

Longshot

Looking at that footage again, how the hell have the so called Hereford fans got away with it? Have Hereford suspended the culprits that were caught on the footage?

Unbelievably the following footage shows the riot they caused at the game with Bideford.

Let's hope we go up just to avoid potential trouble at home to Hereford. Imagine the police/stewards bill for that one game? Problem is the more fans you have the more likely that ugly element will be a part of it. Let's hope Hereford are doing everything to find and ban these individuals.

Remember the Dover v Slough FA Cup match a number of years ago? The Rebels scored late in the game to take the lead. This was followed by a pitch invasion by (presumably) Dover "fans" to "presumably" force the referee to abandon the game. Fair play to the referee - he took the players off the pitch and had an announcement made that the game would be completed that night however long it took. This had the desired effect and the game was completed with Slough winning. Having driven down from East Ham I missed the "afters" where I recall the supporters coach was attacked? So horses for courses and of courses it's the hooligans who create the difficulties - not the officials or the FA.

I was speaking to my brother-in-law who now supports Hereford having been a Rebels supporter for many years ( he still comes along when he can) and we agreed this was a sensible solution which the TVP have insisted on. Hopefully the "supporters" who have been identified and banned by Hereford will also face criminal prosecution.
