I do not want to be out of order.

Now that we have alot of new supporters coming through the gates of all ages have we done enough to encourage these supporters to try going to an away game on the coach they can mix with us oldies and with luck get more involved with the club.

With some big games coming up we want as many supporters as possible at these games with the tie up we have with the school is it possible that we could get a double decker through drivetime like we did in the conference days and get these pupils to come along with there dads at a reduced rate on there first trip.

Thats how alot of us started supporting the team years ago.

The Hitchin or Chesham games for starters.

SD, I don't know 100% but I wouldn't think Drivetime do a double decker coach.

Nevertheless I think you have a good idea to drum up away support for the league run in, maybe something like one adult + one free child under 16.

We already advertise the coaches on our Trust website and publicise that via Twitter and Facebook. There is also two posters advertising the coaches by the turnstiles on the Trust roller banners, with the coach sign up point prominent on entry to Arbour Park.

Children already travel for just £5 on every coach. Coach costs are very high and that is unfortunately reflected in the fares that we have to ask for, and even then a few coaches are run on a loss. Where we believe we can offer a special deal, we do, but it generally needs us to know how we are doing across the course of a season in terms of profit/loss.

However, we have had more than 30 on most recent coaches - there was 37 on the Dorchester coach - and I have seen several people who I have not seen before using the coaches.

You are right Bernie last week left Swindon at 9am in Tescò.s Slough for breakfast at 10am on the coach at 11am in the bar by 2pm got back to swindon 9.15pm.

A great day out with the lads reminiscing and great to see so many happy faces after a win and 3 points or is that 3 pints.

Quicker to go to Dorchester by car or train but no fun doing it on your own.

Also the extra money helps the trust keep the coach running.

Lucky i can do it.
