Yeah forecast between now and Saturday night is pretty dreadful across the county. Fingers crossed we all get some football this weekend. How's the pitch at Welwyn baring up these days Karen?

Weather clearing shortly and forecast now reads dry all day tomorrow (at the time of writing!) so fingers crossed we can all get our games on tomorrow.

I'll take that as pretty bad then....

Well aside from all the bumps and the amount of sand - its just about playable. Best tell your lads to bring hiking boots and a bucket and spade would not go amiss.

Yes so I see, just can't trust those weathermen at the BBC - bring back Michael Fish

Huge thanks to everybody that came along to Fans' Day at Hertford Town. A Fans' Day club record of 462 watched on today and although it wasn't a win, we all had a blast today. Thanks also to Levy Green for joining in with the party atmosphere! #footballfamily

Great day out at Hertford yesterday met up some of the Hertford mates including BDC and LocusX and spoke to Gavin Kelsey about the season so far.

We played really well yesterday with Curtis Donaldson getting his 20th goal of the season.

Great player Curtis, shame he wasted years playing in the West Herts League

Don't shoot the messenger. Even though sounds like a great day and well done to Hertford, a ground hopper stated around 300 max in the ground.

I was at Hertford Saturday (it's hard to turn down free football).

I can't say I tried to count the crowd. But it was the biggest I've seen in this league this season by some way.

Seeing an end at this level, fully manned to the depth of several is quite impressive (free or not).

It must have been the first non league experience for many. And that can only be a good thing for everyone.

Would be good to see a few other teams do the same.

Losing a few hundred quid in gate money one week, is clawed back in the long run if you generate even one new regular.

The only negative in my eyes...

This particular match was dire. Very few chances at either end. And a rather scrappy affair in the middle.

Hertford have no chance of winning the league playing like that.
