Basher
With Baldock looking to chase down the top 3 I noticed from their fixtures that not only do they play in the Herts Senior Centenary Trophy but also the North Beds Charity Cup. I'm assuming because on one hand the Club is from Herts while they actually play in Beds (Stotfold). Any other teams can entry two or more County comps ? Karen Browne
There are no issues with clubs entering competitions in more than one County. There are some in house County rules that will apply. For instance Baldock Town have to play all Herts Senior Centenary Trophy fixtures in Hertfordshire so would have to hire a ground (that meets the requirements of the competition) should they be drawn at home. In the case of the Herts Senior Challenge Cup - Barnet are no longer allowed to enter due to their home ground no longer in the County however Eton Manor from Essex are allowed to enter as the ground they play at is in Hertfordshire. Should Baldock Town gain promotion and remain at their present Bedfordshire home they would face similar problems next season.
