David Carpenter
I have just read the article regarding the walk on 22 April. What a great cause for the local charity. Having had personal experience of the profound difficulties that arise from having a loved one with dementia and being myself a Dementia Friend this naturally will have my fullest support. I can no longer walk any great distance but hopefully I can do what I did last year and follow the walkers in my car in case anyone has the misfortune to have to drop out at any stage. So let's have as much support as possible for this great cause.
David Carpenter
Sorry Dan - I have replied on another thread but to repeat - let's have great support for this event.
Stuntman Mark
I'm definitely getting involved in this one. We lost our nan this year after two years of suffering with dementia and it is heartbreaking to witness. I might even dust off my running shoes and see if the dodgy knee will hold out. Gashimoto
gutted, I was hoping to do it this year again but I am away that weekend. Good luck to the walkers.
David Carpenter
I presume the Trust are already liaising with Heatherwood etc. I have an appointment there next Tuesday evening so if any poster is available I would be happy to start drumming up support (my printer is like me - a bit knacked). I also could help by hopefully getting a poster in place at Burnham Health Centre and discussing when I next visit towards the end of next week.
