Putts should be back soon , and if he can re-discover his form , he could be another option up front.

The only problem to that,Codpiece,is that Lewis Putman has only played a few games for Hayes up front and has predominately been a winger ,when he has played for us.

Huge ask to expect him to be our answer to our prayers.

Losing Gav James from our team is a big blow but not insurmountable. The biggest problem for the team is how we adapt our attacking play, now that we've lost Gav's lightning quick burst of speed.

Trouble is we are going to be putting a lot on the shoulders of an young upcomer[ this mystery new player] and on the ageing but sprightly Manny Williams.

Let's hope they prove their mettle.

Aging !!! Oh my god poor Manny !!

I mean in football terms, not that he's ready for a tea dance ! ha ha!

Having looked at the highlights it would seem we had enough chances to win the game. Obviously we will be without Lee Togwell for  3 games now as well. I hope Manny will be fit for Dorchester because he seems to add that extra bit of class to the side when he is playing and brings the best out of some of the other players. I do not think Putts is the answer to our problem with regard to Gavin. Playing Dobbo, Warren and Putts in the same side give a bit of an imbalance and we need a player who will challenge back and also win the ball in the air. Could Guy or Nathan fit in Lee's role with the other partnering Nis if Manny is not fit to play?. My eleven would be Scott, Fraser, Nisbet, Smart or Hollis, Stonehouse, Webb,Dunn ,Williams or Smart, Dobson, Harris and Flood with Dunn pushing up in support of Harris and Flood.

Cinderford were improving and fired up Dorchester have 1 win from their last 10 league games and a poor home record No need for our confidence to take a hit because of last nights glitch.

I don't quite concur with your assessment of Dorchester Irishadrian.

Their home league record is on a par with clubs up to 12 placed Weymouth with 6 wins 6 draws and 5 defeats. It's their away record that has let them down with 12 losses and only 3 wins from 17 played.

Certainly agree with you that despite defeat we apparently played quite well last night and should still be confident going into Saturday's game.

RR Yes we will have to disagree  6 wins out of 17 on your own ground is poor and 1 win in the last 10 is a fact   If Slough had only 6 wins at home this season I know what the bulk of the forum would be saying To sum up Dorchester are poor at home and appalling away from home imo..
