I don't think that either team played particularly well today. In truth it could have gone either way and your lot were the lucky ones on the right end of the result.

We do usually play good football but your pitch wasn't the best in which to showcase our samba skills.

One question for you mate: Who is higher in the league? Hmmmm...

Face it, your team is on the decline whilst ours is actually going in the right direction.

we know that this is the worst kettering side in living memory we are not a conference standard side or we would be in the conference deeeerrr!

you are a yypical borg side as i mentioned previously aggresive and physical,your cenrte half injured himself commiting a foul ,,says it all really .Georges sides have always played the same way get it forward quickly to front men who hold it play it wide then leg it into the box for returns.With the money you have at your disposal you will get away with this tactic against the lesser teams score lots of goals and win games,as soon as you come up against batter sides with better centre halfs and quicker backs it is a very easy system to stop,we're by far the best in this division and apart from a dodgy pen would have won comfortably.Ask yourselves why has borg never managed at a higher level?lets face it even at aldershot with their resources he won nothing .as i said we have no money and a crap team we beat you .p.s. was it nice to see a crowd ,well done on your vocal support though.

To be fair that is the first game we have lost in the league since September so we must be doing something right.

You would never have won comfortably. Have you forgotten that we hit the post and when Brad missed an open goal?

 

It was a good atmosphere though.

 

Dunno how long that Wilson bloke will stay with you though. We might have him as a coach next season.

with our chairman anything can happen and it usually does but we the supporters are the last to know .4 managers in 18 months pleading poverty and then can afford full time manager and assistant . Enjoy your time at the top and i hope the guy with the money stays but history says they ussually get fed up and move on i.e. colne dynamoes , sittingbourne , farnborough ,rushden etc etc. Still think your style of play is to predictable and if you do get in the conference take it from us you will get murdered.

as for getting murdered in the connie....well...we were supposed to get murdered in this league but here we are 3rd with a game in hand....

 

we may or may not catch canvey but we'll finish top three either way...not bad for two years from the ryman 3rd....we're here to stay...get used to it....

We have played 2 teams of higher quality than conference football this season in Darlington and Tranmere and if my memory serves me right, didn't we beat one team and could and should have beaten the other? This suggests that we won't get murdered when we get in the conference..
