Hitcin Postponement

I have just travelled all the way from Peterborough to Hichin only to be told the game was off when I arrived.I listened to Three Counties radio all the way down,no mention of a postponement,and even on the way back they were still talking as if the game was still on.Is there no way the football club can get in touch with the local radio station as soon as possible to let travellers know of the postponement?What a waste of time! Shan't bother in the future.

I can't remember the last time a new years day fixture at Hitchin was not called off!

The only time that City have completed a New Years Day(or equivalent) fixture with Hitchin was on Saturday 31st December 1994 when a 3-3 draw was recorded at Clarence Park.

A waste of time indeed !

i wouldnt bother watching hitchin either but it takes all sorts i guess
