Another great performance from the Rebels against a rejuvenated Cambridge City. Not taking too much from Cambridge but I thought the 4-3 scoreline flattered them a bit.

Yes, we let them off the hook a bit by overplaying and missing our chances.

Cannot overstate the importance of that win.

This was probably our toughest game of the month given Cams recent revival but we had no excuse for not getting 3 points there. We have put some distance between us and 6th and hung on to the coat tails of the leaders. And put in a good performance to follow a great performance against Weymouth, something we too often fail to do .

Agree that the scorline was not a true reflection of the game, heard their manager give a very honest interview on BBC Cams after the game and say they were well beaten.

By the way Really excellent coverage by the local BBC radio station. Covered Cam UTd Peteboro and other league sides then did decent section on all their local southern prem sides Including live interview.

Do BBC Berks give their non league clubs such a good shout?

A few seasons ago the local radio station got involved with interviews etc but as far as I know there is nothing now.

 

The only local football reviews that I know of is the weekly Slough Express SportsTALK podcast which does interviews and reviews on most of the local clubs.

Quite a few times we've done Radio Berks interviews at around 1.30pm and then sometimes after games at 5.30pm.

 

They normally do a round up talking about us, Maidenhead and Hungerford and speak to the managers from each.
