Charlie Moone Departs

Just seen on the website that Charlie Moone has mutually agreed to leave the club.

Shame that, thought when he signed he would make a big impact on the side and for a while looked like he was going to. I guess as the artical says, his game time would limited so fair play and good luck to him in the future

Surprised we have let Charlie Moone go, he is our top scoring striker this season and joint top scoring player in the league. All that despite never being able to form a partnership upfront with constant change to our line up due to injuries and new players coming in occasionally.

Thank you to Charlie for his goals and effort this season and I am sure he will be a huge asset to which ever team he joins next.

I'm not surprised as he's said he wants to be playing regularly and there was no guarantee of that with us with 3 other strikers. Can't fault his record at the club and he's certainly helped us to the position we hold, best of luck at your next club which I'm sure will be at the same level.

I'm sorry to see Charlie Moone go. Think we are being premature letting him go at this present time, given that he is a proven goal scorer at our level.

Understand that he wouldn't be happy not playing but think he's unlucky not to start against Dunstable this week given Gavin James erratic form.

Dunstable being the 'land of the giants' team probably made up our managers mind, who to select.

Some other team at our level or above will benefit from Charlie becoming available.

For Slough, it hasn't been quite the fairy tale with Charlie, that his signing at the start of the season had promised.

Think that has to do with our mixed bag of team performances. On a good pitch, playing fluent football Charlie will get goals galore but with a team not at their best and struggling for form he's not the type of player to roll up his sleeves and get stuck in.

Probably the reason for not keeping hold of him.

Just hope Chesham don't go after him,as Andy Leese is the sort of manager that will take a chance on him.
