Leamington.....0-6 !

Just wow, no one could have predicted that! I was thinking a draw would be a great result before KO and our recent form. Gutted I didn't go as I was planning to but family guilt got the better of me! Next two against mid table opposition who really don't have much to play for, got to be aiming for 6 points here which would put us right back into the title race (maybe getting ahead of myself now but you've got to be confident after a result like that?).

Glen Glen Glen stop it now!

Any talk of easier games against mid table opposition has got to be banned from this forum  ;)

Yes we've got to be aiming for 6 points but Kings Lynn and Dunstable will not roll over because they are mid table, in fact they will be even more determined to put one over us.

BTW can we merge this Leamington thread with the other one please.

9 didn't get sent off for the tackle.... that was 8.... think 9 got sent off for fighting. I am going by Gary's photos. Just saw on leamington twitter that 8 got the yellow for tackle even though from pics looked a red which he saw later. Rowe was sent off for fighting and they are asking why our 7 didn't get sent off too. From looking at photos 7 is holding him back from going for togwell then he's turned on our 7. The ref was there the whole time so he must of seen/heard it all and warranted a red. They are blaming the officials but clearly their players were out of control today!

First red was for the push/punch on web , while no8 Edwards got yellow for foul, also how their no5 didn't get a red for foul on Webb is crazy and keeper could have had red for elbow on Williams after 3rd goal. Sorry to burst bubble but not Holgate's first touch, controlled ball on thigh and passed before scoring.

With all problems with floodlights was surprised when setting up that Chairman came to see how much power I was using ?

Congratulations to The Rebels on a fantastic performance. As per a separate thread I was unable to be there due to a prior commitment at a concert in School Hall, Eton College. A most enjoyable concert but not I am sure anywhere nearly as enjoyable as that witnessed at Leamington. I took in the Burnham v Lydney game and unfortunately Burnham got well beaten 4-0 with their goalkeeper making a number of good saves to keep the score down. Can't be at K.L. either due to family commitments but COYR!!

really have to congratulate the players and managers/staffing team for proving a lot of people wrong and delivering a phenomenal performance both via ability and mentally keeping our heads when Leamington totally lost theirs.

just when we were on the great winning/unbeaten run all the players delivered 8/9 out of 10 performances with the biggest standouts as others have said by Flood who worked so hard and thoroughly deserved his hat trick and Smart who showed his quality with a great performance in an unfamiliar role.

Williams showed his class on the ball and the tweak in formation i thought helped Togwell and Dunn to show their best again

Must also be said a big thanks to the Leamington fan and stewards who dealt with the drunken fool who threatened to cause trouble with the Slough fans just after the 2nd red card. Vast majority of the Leamington fans were very friendly and welcoming and this particular fan was disgusted by the drunks behaviour

A very very good performance and 3 points but lets remember its only 3 points and there are many many more games where we need to be performing 7/8s out of 10 if we are to get at least top 5, starting in a tough tough trip on Tuesday at Kings Lynn

Yes , a big A+ to Leamington for their organisation and swift action in dealing with the drunken idiot Started the moment we got there with loads of stewards parking everyone effeciently, then their reaction to the possible trouble was excellent.

We are all tribal and passionate about our team and want them to win but the reason we slog up and down these lower leagues is to watch Real people play football rather than preening millionaires, in crowds of like minded but differently affiliated supporters, who you can have a chat with , share a bit of banter and hope for bragging rights at the end of the game but never be hostile and unpleasant.

Thanks to that I will forget about the floodlights and forgive them the £11 entrance fee .

Won't forgive that smell though!!!

Having been unable to get to the game I have just watched the highlights with a great deal of joy. I must commend Paul Hollerhan for his honest and sporting post match appraisal when he must of course have been feeling deeply disappointed. No blaming the officials and holding up his hand in a  forthright manner. COYR!
