Two In, One Out - Squad Updates

To me it looks like we've changed our shape and stuck with it for the time being as it's working, with 3 wins in the last 4 games. Doesn't mean we won't go back to using wide players, and I think Putman has something to offer us before the end of the season.

Would say a shame about grainger but it would be pretty insincere. Can understand a player/ parent getting upset if their son receives actual abuse but wouldn't consider the "circus" theme to be abuse- merely something light hearted after a cock up (can't even remember that Happening tbh) if he or his dad will pull himself/ his son from a club for something so minor I would imagine sunday league in the middle of a forest may be the best option for him. He did have a truly awful debut. And looked far far far out of his depth. Obviously the managers had seen something positive in him that wasn't present during his time on the pitch. If he can't take that....a Tuesday night away to somewhere like AFC Hayes would be enough to make him take up non- competitive tiddlywinks. Hey ho I think we will survive. Hope we find somewhat of getting dobbo into this new formation as, for me, he has been our most creative player this season by quite some way and we always look much stronger with him in the team.

Gilkesy is coming along nicely, and there is an outside chance he could be fit by the end of the season, however in all honesty with a ACL injury we would not rush him, and will probably just wait until next season.

Lee Barney I cant give you an awful lot of information on, as he is awaiting an MRI scan that in theory he should have probably arranged 3 months ago.... we will not see him playing IMO this season.

Josh Jackman is back in training as he had to have 2 bones in his hand reset after getting injured playing for Kingstonian, he sees the specialist today and if he is given the all clear, he can return to competitive football.

Adam New is in reality a Hartley player now, as he has been with them all season.

We are also looking at other options for number 2 keepers, just Jacko has his Hashtag United commitments, and is unable to train on a regular basis with us.

My mind is drawn back to that Berko game, where the travelling Rebel support willed the referee to send off Ricky Browne, cheered when a red card was produced and sang cheerio as he trudged off the pitch. That was a level of abuse that I could understand not being well received by a player. What has been described as above is a sad indictment of generation snowflake
