Thame Rangers

Recommended Posts

Not true all you have said there but come to Thame on a Tuesday night and see for yourself. We can't be that good anyway as didn't win team of the month ?

Seen you one this season and very impressed by the quality of players you have.

Prosper

Schmid

Rogers

Keozierski

Brown

Keeble

I believe these have all played at a much higher level. Fair play that you have them available I just wondered what the attraction was. If paying I can understand it, if not???

Plus I think others in the squad have played higher and the majority are still quality and should be playing Southern League standard.

The large majority have played no higher then step 7.

Prosper - Yes

Schmidt - 4 of last 5 years at step 7

Rogers - haddenham fc step 9 for last 3 years

Kedzierski - Think he was at Thame Utd last season but not getting in

Brown - bar 10 games for leighton, 5 years step 7

Keeble - Step 7 last 5 years bar short spell for didcot last season where he broke his leg badly, now recovering

Hope that clears it up for you!

I would hope they enjoy the football we try to give and the facilities which are second to none, obviously we want to move up the league pyramid, the lower levels are rich with football talent, you just need to know where to look.

Hi,

I think a lot of the comments being made are unfair. I've watched a few games of there's as they are local and I've heard about a lot of the lads. A lot of the lads do not drive(this is what I've heard) I.e Jeanmeal, Kieron and maybe a few others but they all like to play football and this is why they have never really had the chance to go higher. There is nothing wrong with them being to good for a league when they all enjoy playing together! At the end of the day, they all seem to be good mates so they don't wanna go higher, they all play Saturdays and Sundays together as well I've heard

Thame are a great team. I have seen them on a few occasions this season. The whole standard of division 2 has improved. The top 5 or 6 sides would do well in Division 1. Thame are a class side. Enfield have looked very good. The turn around at totternhoe has been remarkable. New Bradwell are starting to click into gear. St Neots are part of a big club with good resources. Thame will win the league. Totternhoe with their games in hand are probably in the driving seat for runners up if their striker keeps scoring like he is. New Bradwell, Enfield, St Neots will be there or thereabouts. It is refreshing to see the league at such a high standard. Long may it continue and good luck to Thame in conqering all thats in front of them.

I can agree that the overall standard is much higher this year but the bottom half of the league is also one of the worst it's been in a long time, no disrespect, it's just my opinion on what Ive witnessed.

Aston are going under the radar, games in hand and a few outstanding players at their disposal.

Thame have it in the bag!

It's about time a few bucks/oxon clubs started making progress in the ssml structure, it's been dominated by Herts clubs for too long!
