Hillingdon Borough Resigned

Recommended Posts

On Twitter Hillingdon Borough have said they have resigned from the league today due to SSML saying they had to get rid of their manager. Never heard of a league saying you must get rid of a manager.

I heard it kicked off in their recent game v Langford. Ref being manhandled and all sorts. Perhaps the SSMFL has thrown the book at them?

Do not believe all you read on Twitter, I have seen the resignation letter and I am sure the SSML will be making an official statement in due course.

A bit of pushing and shoving at Langford, but no worse than what's been seen at countless other games. If it was that bad, the manager would have been red-carded, but a couple of yellows (one for each side) was deemed to suffice.

You can't red card a manager

A lot has been said about Yannick Bolasie's contribution, but not a lot about former captain D.Tilbury. Saw on twitter that he left work early, drove straight to the ground and demanded to know what was going on, he was then flying through his little black book of non league contacts trying to get a team together and offering himself as manager. While we can't all throw the sort of money premier league players have, some just do the best they can.

Here's to more people like D.Tilbury.

So have they got a team now to continue ?

Is Olli still involved over there ?
