FT

Southall 2 W.Ferrera 39', C.Tomkins 54'

Risborough Rangers 2 L.Mason - Williams 9', A.Louth OG 38'

I thought over the 90+ mins Southall were the better team. My MOM was D.Bennell. Good to see new Southall signing C.Tomkins score on his debut. A.Page had a decent game and i thought W.Harvey needed a bit of help upfront would like to see him play alongside P.Dean or D.Manu.

I attended the game and thought it was pretty even.

Southall edging possession but Risborough created the better chances. Could have gone either way but a draw was fair.

I thought Risborough Rangers were the better team up till they scored there second goal then it was all Southall after that.

I can see how you came to that conclusion. I would agree.

As the game went on Risborough seemed to get to Grips with the long ball and last 15 they could have scored a couple.

Southall certainly missed a few very good chances late in the first half!

The change around at Southall is amazing, the team look strong and experienced!

The committee and helpers all welcoming and lovely people.

Yes Paul Palmer has signed the right sort of players to get the club promoted thats for sure as a lot of the players have played a level or two higher and a lot of the Southall players are mates so there is a great team spirit.

Risborough Rangers have decent support i can see them also going up this season.
