Reading Rebel
Our B & B semi final with Maidenhead has been arranged for the 17th into our already congested January fixture list between the Biggleswade and Chippenham games. It seems that the tie has to be played by the 20th January despite the final normally being held in May. It all seems a bit crazy to me when we only have 5 fixtures in February and 4 in March. Irishadrian
Even crazier is that Maidenhead have just one fixture between now and the 17th according to their fixture list.
staines_rebel_Jr
Even crazier is that Maidenhead have just one fixture between now and the 17th according to their fixture list. Mainly because we have rescheduled most of our postponed matched in January (3, Cinderford, St Neots and Kings Lynn)
HorshamRebel
and they may have to be rearranged again depending on what January's weather throws at us
rebelbrewer
and they may have to be rearranged again depending on what January's weather throws at us In fact right now rescheduling 1 or 2 might suit us
staines_rebel_Jr
It was just a shame all the rescheduled matches were all away matches which will be more susceptible to the weather than they would be had they been played at Arbour Park. Neil Baker
Just so you know when rescheduling league fixtures you usually only have a set amount of days from the original fixture to get it played by, hence why January is now really busy. Weymouth is the odd exception as it has been cancelled three times now I believe. In an ideal world the Maidenhead game would have been played in February where less games, especially as the Final is not until end of April/May. GarySTFC
Unless it's changed since back in the day, I think the rearranged date has to be within six weeks of when the game was due to be played. I'm sure for re-arranged games that are then postponed, it's six weeks from the second date, not the original. With all the Saturday's assigned, it can be a bit tricky! Certainly don't envy Kay!
