Reading Rebel
Mixed results for us from today's games with Leamington and Chippenham surprisingly only getting a point a piece with Hitchin and Merthyr getting 3 points.
GlenSTFC
Down to 5th, just points now from 6th our season is goimg to pot... Neil & Jon out! ? I expected all 4 sides around us to win today so with 2 of them dropping points it's a massive plus going into our game tomorrow. With H&Y form and league position we got to be hoping for a win but we all know it won't be easy if we're not at the top of our game. I'd hope for around 300 Rebels to be there tomorrow which will be more than double what H&Y will bring. Sort of in our hand now knowing if we win all our games in hand we'll be top. RodB
Will this be the first time we've played home and away at the same ground in the same season?
GlenSTFC
No as we would have done that whilst playing SYCOB in the league.

HorshamRebel
It will, however be the first season that we've played at home in two grounds, and away in one of those grounds
David Carpenter
Perhaps Alan Smith can provide an answer for 1974/75 season when the new pitch at Wexham Park became unplayable and we had to play "at home" away from home for a while.. Can't remember if we were playing Walton and Hersham in the league that season but we certainly played our home F.A. cup tie against Brentford there. From memory we played Kingstonians away that season & also played a home fixture there at the old Richmond Rd ground it may also have happened at Hayes Church Rd. David Carpenter
We were definitely Bannyshed from Wexham Park for a while. Hope to see you at Beaconsfield/White Horse later if the game is on.
