Biggest game of the season...

I think Town are the underdogs for Saturday (if we get another poor ref like yesterday). Someone said it was the 79th minute before we had a free kick from the ref and there was some interesting decisions before that?

The other lot have a settled team built around Danny Heale. They have a better goal difference and are still in the FA Vase. Concord have consistently been our boggy team and beaten us more times than any other ESL team. (Father Jack or Jim Cunneen will correct me if I'm wrong). Having said all that I think we play better when we aren't the favorites to win because the expectation is not as great!

Because I'm away and feeling guilty about missing this one I'll sponsor a seat in the stand with the name of the town player who Jim Chandler believe has contributed the most in this one match to a town win. If we lose or draw no seat! Concord can afford to win or draw, I think we must win or our destiny will not be in our own hands.

I'm throwing down the gauntlet who's going to lay the Concord ghost to rest boys?

What are you talking about Cleggy..Underdogs??..i don't think so.

If we can get our best team out and if we get a fair ref (thats a big IF,mind you),then i predict Town will win by a couple of goals.

Will Negus,Cooper and Clarke be available, and what about G.Hall,Ridout,Geraghty,Quinn.??

The underdogs was linked with the quality of ref in the same way you have! With a fair ref I'm in screaming agreement, but the refereeing does appear this season to be a handicapping mechanism to ensure Town doesn't walk away with the title or many decisions in its favour.

Secondly unlike the away match at Concord can we keep all 11 players on the pitch. We drew in the 90th minute with 10 men and a lovely goal (from Beckham in disguise) Lee Smith. Let's not make it hard for ourselves this time with handbagging!
