Burger!
On my way to Dorking today, hope the fog clears so I can get a few photos. Other games Lobster fans will be keeping an eye on, interesting game over at Worcester park who are on a 5 from 5 winning run who take on AC who have a draw and a loss to thieir 5 match stats, although the Lobsters have a points cushion I can see this being a hard thought draw, will help us, which would help cement Redhills third spot. Over at Eversley who are in 4th behind Redhill but have played 3 more games could do us a huge favour and get some points from 2nd spot Bagshot who have played one more than Redhill but interestingly still have to play Bagshot home and away so on paper its looking good. Leaders Banstead will need to be on it when Sheerwater arrive today, Lobster fans will be looking to Sheerwater to turn it on and bag the points but realisticly a draw is perhaps a good prediction. Burger!
HT DORKING 0 LOBSTERS 1. Its that man Cambell again! Not the greatest display from the lobsters bit to much faffing about at the back when we should be getting it forward faster, Kedze and Cambell need to be chasing on more for better chances. Lots more to come in second half. Very nice burgers and free mince pies. good turnout from reds fans for the local derby going back to 1894. Got mistaken for a professional photographer, the day gets better!
Burger!
FT DORKING 0. LOBSTERS 2. Second half we played much better and the longer it went on the more pressure was put on the chicks who had no answers to our fast passing game and speed up the wings. Looks like the second goal may go down as an OG but they all count. Reds had a penalty saved good effort from their keeper.. we need to be more ruthless in front of goal we create so many chances we need to up the strike rate if we are going to match Banstead and Bagshot. all in all a good day out at a good ground. Krooner
A rare trip to Krooner for me today saw an ultimately comfortable win for the Krooners. WE started the brightest and probably should have been 2 up in the first 5 minutes. As the 1st half wore on Bedfont tested Norman with a couple of good efforts. Their 4 and 10 were 2 excellent centre mids. 1-0 at ht and the next goal was always going to be crucial and when Camberley grabbed it the away sides heads went down and we scored a further 3. Reckon 6 wins now required for us. Dreadful crowd today as well on a Saturday when everyone appears to go Xmas shopping. Some interesting thoughts flying around about the way forward for the Krooners from here

Carthorse
Horley Town 5 Windsor 3 What a game that was not one for the defenders but great fun for the fans. Windsor went one nil up in less the three minutes. Town hit back with a goal from Alex Barbary. Town then went two one up with Kylie Hough.Windsor then hit back to make it two two, but again Town came back with Richard Wetton sending Town in at half time three two up. The second half Windsor pushed and a good save from George Hyde kept Town in the game before Kylie Hough scored his second and Town's 4th. In the closing minute Alex Barbary added his second and Town's 5th for a great win for Christmas for the Horley Fans.
Chris Clapham
Combined Counties League Premier Division - Knaphill 1 Hartley Wintney 4 - Admission £6 - Programme £1.50 - Attendance approx 80 "Well, Hartley Wintney certainly produced a title winning performance in the second half after playing the whole half with ten men and scoring three times without reply. HW took the lead after 23 minutes when a low cross from the left from Steve Duff found the late arriving Sam Argent to convert at the back post. Controversy though just before the break when a supposed late challenge from Adam New on Ross Cheek saw the former red carded and Jimmy Norman sent the visiting keeper the wrong way from the spot. The referee had a mare as, firstly, most were of the opinion that there wasn't any contact, and, secondly, the new rules state that a penalty is sufficient punishment in those circumstances and no red card should have been shown. What happened in the second half was unexpected with HW scoring three times and going close on several other occasions whilst Knaphill struggled to produce anything of note despite their numbers advantage. It was 2-1 after 50 minutes when a long ball from defence was flicked on by Duff to Argent who expertly headed the ball over the advancing keeper into the net and within three minutes, Argent had his hat trick after Duff was brought down by Josh Watkins. Argent placing the penalty into the bottom left corner. Duff was involved in the fourth too as he beat the full back for pace and his cross found the unmarked Luke Perkins at the back stick to nod home. The referee must have been desperate to get off the pitch to see the final of Strictly as he blew the whistle dead on 90 minutes despite there being five substitutions during the second half and a fair amount of time lost when the ball needed to be retrieved from empty parts of the ground. Fair to say it wasn't the best 90 minutes of Mr Ellesmore's refereeing career. So, in the last two weeks, I've seen the leaders of the Wessex, Kent, Sussex (yes I know the names of the leagues have changed) and now the Combined Counties League and this performance from Hartley Wintney was easily the most impressive of the four." Krooner
???? You are right CC. I reckon around 45-50 points should keep us out of the bottom 3 so going to revise and say 4 or 5 wins.

Valkyrie
Chris I appreciate that's not your report of the Knaphill v HW game, but I'd like to see the new 'rules' the writer refers to. As s/he writes, a late challenge would be classed as serious foul play and so punishable by a red card in the penalty area (and anywhere else on the field of play). A mistimed challenge, if deemed to be a genuine attempt to play the ball, could be a yellow only in the penalty area but that doesn't affect other send-off offences. If I could, I'd post the PGMOL training video which shows examples of what does and does not fit the change in law I think the writer is referring to. Doesn't tell the whole story of course but, in a nutshell, I think I cracked it! Ha ha! Too many times I look at the opposition reports and I think 'I must have been at a different game!' such is the bias. Yours was spot on and that's from a Farnham point of view. Too many times I look at the opposition reports and I think 'I must have been at a different game!' such is the bias. Yours was spot on and that's from a Farnham point of view. Our next game is the return match v SCRFC. I will strive to get it right this time round!
