Irishadrian
This means Chippenham have now used up their game in hand and failed to overtake us Leamingtons loss of another 2 points can only help our quest to be champions
Bernie Gogan
Still a long way to go and check out Chesham, another good result today and rising in the table plus yet another massive away win for Kettering, our opponents next week!
staines_rebel_Jr
Kettering are the form team in the league right now but their wins have come against teams who are struggling in Dorchester, Cinderford, Cirencester and Hayes and Yeading. 3 of those 4 have the worst form right now. But having scored 12 goals in their last two games Kettering will be full of confidence.
Curtis
Got to feel sorry for Cambridge..... leading with 8 minutes left when the match was abandoned (would have been back to back league wins for them).
Irishadrian
The game with Kettering will be one deserving a big crowd Kettering would be in the top 5 if their home record wasnt so poor but only Leamington have won more away games So one of the top away performers will meet one of the top home performers Something has to give! I think our great pitch and support will edge it towards us.
Reading Rebel
Banbury 5-0 Hayes and Yeading Biggleswade 2-2 Chippenham Chesham 4-0 Basingstoke Cinderford A-A Cambridge (Abandoned after 82 mins was 0-1) Cirencester 1-6 Kettering Frome 0-0 Leamington Merthyr 5-0 Kings Langley St Ives 2-1 Redditch Stratford 5-2 St Neots Neither Chippenham nor Leamington picked up 3 points. Biggleswade were 1-0 up and missed a penalty, Chippenham capitalised by scoring 2 quickly after but Biggleswade managed an equaliser. The Southern League site said it was abandoned after 90, the Cinderford twitter said there was 5 minutes left and the Cambridge twitter said it was called off in the 83rd minute I think the score at the time was 2-1 to Cambridge. It seems the pitch was unplayable at the start of the second half so I think Cambridge will be a tad miffed to have the game called off with 6/7minutes left. Curtis
Hitchin 4 Redditch 2 Basingstoke 1 Kings Lynn 2 Dorchester 1 St Ives 1 Hayes 1 Frome 3 Merthyr 2 Chippenham 2 Most clubs have now played at least half their fixtures, and on average points per match, Merthyr are sixth on 1.72 points per match. Which over the seasons 46 matches would be 79 points. Looks like a minimum of 80 points will be required to make the play-offs this season. Stuntman Mark
I think Hitchin could be the team to watch.
David Carpenter
I agree with you Mark- I watched the youtube of them beating Leamington at Leamington the other week and as we know they are a relatively young but hard and uncompromising side. My current tip but they're probably get beaten by a lower level side now!
Guest route104
It seems we have been playing the form teams every week but still 2nd expect Kettering to be more of the same Saturday
Irishadrian
Hitchins problem is finishing with 11 men! Both Redditch goals scored by Jhai Dhillon
