We should have done by a long way. We could have been 3-0 up by half time. Pitch was absolute [****!!****] never seen anything so bobbly. Our manager messed up in second half to give them the win, he has no tactical awareness

How the smeg C*rshalton are 2nd, i will never know, they were absolutly appaling, the fact that we hit the woodwork several times, and missed a penalty, plus there 1 shot on target (at 6-0) shows how poor they are.

Hmm...I still can't see Canvey losing games - well - I can't see other teams beating them.

 

Their results are impressive. OK I know 1-0 is 3 points same as 3-0, but Canvey sound like they're really over-running the opposition.

 

Still, long way to go. We just have to keep winning.

To be honest in the last couple of games, we've not played that well in the opening 30 minutes and have tended to look a little sluggish.

Once we go in front, we tend to play with more confidence and blow sides away.

 

The only chance you have of beating Canvey is to take the lead and get 11 men behind the ball and hope you can frustrate them but this season we've often come back from going a goal down to win games.

 

Because of our goal power, teams have to score at least two to win because we're always likely to score ourselves.
