Bakes, is that somebody else or the 7 day approach that's been talked about?

In the latest news piece about Elijah extending his loan it says "In other news we have a 7-day approach out to one striker and are in talks with another" so likely their will be another player joining if the 7-day is successful.

This ongoing debate about when we will be safe from relegation is mithering me. Whilst of course there could hypothetically be the collapse of all collapses this seems extremely (to the power of 1000) unlikely. I heard such conjecture just after we had beaten Redditch 4-0 - it seemed pretty negative then - even more so now!

This is pretty ridiculous, the first target for any team in any season is making sure you safe from relegation !!!

At the start of last season Leicester's ONLY target was get 40 points (safety), it is then once you reach that mark or get close to reaching it you set yourselves a new target depending on how many games you have left. Our target now will probably be play offs and challenge for the title.

If we were to get another forward in it would only be one player not two, however as managers you always need a few targets.

Of course the first target taking a realistic but perhaps negative standpoint is to avoid relegation. In my allowable and optimistic opinion it would seem to me barring an unprecedented course of events that we are already clear of any relegation worries. In my previous post I noted that we were at this stage well clear of the teams in 6th,7th and 8th places - perhaps a gentle hint as to where I optimistically believe our reasonable target stands at present.

Good to have Elijah staying on and to know that he is learning and enjoying his time in non league football with the REBELS.

Was not at the game but so good to hear about the celebrations on Rebels Radio when he scored and the passion shown by the squad.

The same passion Unders showed when we equalised against Kings Langley.

Top squad and management.

Just to empasise how far we have come this season :

we have now played 27 competitive games, we have won 19, drawn 4 and lost 4, that is just over a 70 per cent win ratio.

What sector is it that always uses the disclaimer 'past performance is not a predictor of future results'??

Neil, the season so far has been fantastic, very entertaining and has exceeded my most hopeful expectations...... and if you can achieve 14 wins from our remaining 27 league matches (a tad over a 50% win ratio) then we should be guaranteed at the very least a play-off spot.
