Player suspensions

As we all know we will have 3 players suspended for the FA Trophy game with Wingate and Finchley next Saturday, Simon Dunn, James Dobson and Mark Nisbet.

Although Dunny and Dobbo will be a big miss we have cover for those particular positions, barring injuries, in Nathan Webb and Lewis Putmen.

With Mark Nisbet very likely to be given a 2 match suspension it's a major problem for us due to Dan Hicks being injured and Brad Hewitt seemingly on dual reg at Hendon.

Having looked at the Hendon web site it seems that Brad Hewitt hasn't yet featured in either Hendon's starting 11 or indeed as a sub, possibly due to unavailability?

Are Bakes and Unders going to try and get Brad Hewitt back to cover for Mark Nisbet while he is suspended?

As soon as we got back from the game yesterday i went back and read the PR about Brads deal with Hendon to check and see what the deal was with bringing him back RR. With Nis suspended and Dan Hicks injured and limping quite a bit at yesterdays game i would say if we dont bring Brad back now, we wont see him in a Slough shirt again. If we do bring him back, surely now would be a good time given the 2 games this week? Good opportunity for him to make his mark on the side and claim a place in the starting 11.

The agreement with Hendon is that Brad would play for them over the next month, but would play for us against Northwood on Wednesday (they play on a Tuesday).

Brad played a 90 for Hendon yesterday in their win at Leiston, even though their twitter put out the wrong team.

Will be unlikely he will be back with us next week at this stage (as you can't mess both club and player round after agreeing something with both) we are also quite comfortable with Sean in at centre half especially at home against a side with plenty of pace, as proved away at Merthyr where him and Guy were excellent.

Obviously it will leave us a bit stretched in terms of numbers, but we will cope, and still have an extremely strong 11 starting the game.
